Detailed Itinerary

Reach the 'Little Kashmir'. Acclimatization walk to the ancient Nanda Devi Temple. Evening briefing on high-altitude safety and terrain mapping.
A 6km gradual ascent through dense Rhododendron and Oak forests. Transition from forest cover to sprawling alpine meadows.
Push to the highest point for a 360° view of the Kumaon Himalayas including Nanda Devi and Panchachuli. Descent back to Munsyari.
Visit the iconic 126m high Birthi Falls. Explore Munsyari's local market for hand-woven Pashmina and organic herbs before departure.

The View from the Top

From the Khaliya Top Zero Point, the peaks feel close enough to touch. On a clear day, you can see the trail leading into the Milam Glacier and the borders of Tibet. It is a photographer's sanctuary and a trekker's spiritual home.
