1. Registration & Booking
A booking is only confirmed once a 25% non-refundable advance payment is received. The remaining balance must be cleared at least 30 days before the departure date. For last-minute bookings (within 15 days), 100% payment is required upfront.
2. Medical Fitness & Age
Pilgrims must be between 18 and 70 years of age. All participants must provide a medical fitness certificate from a registered MBBS doctor. High-altitude trekking (above 14,000ft) involves inherent risks; Gotrek Travels is not responsible for complications arising from pre-existing conditions.
3. Permits & Identification
As most Yatras are in border regions, Inner Line Permits (ILP) are mandatory. Clients must submit valid Aadhaar Cards, Police Verification (if applicable), and Passport-sized photos 20 days in advance. Failure to secure permits due to late submission is not the responsibility of the agency.
4. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellations made 30+ days before: 50% refund (minus advance). 15-30 days: 25% refund. Less than 15 days: No refund. No refunds are provided for missed sights due to weather, road blocks, or health issues.
5. Itinerary Changes
The Himalayas are unpredictable. Gotrek Travels reserves the right to modify the itinerary for safety reasons (landslides, snow, or government restrictions). Any additional costs incurred (hotels, transport) due to delays beyond our control are to be borne by the client.
Agreement
By paying the booking amount, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Gotrek Travels operates in some of the most remote parts of the world, and we prioritize safety above all else.
